Year 11 /Post 16
As your son/daughter is in year 10, you and they need to decide what they want to do after year 11.
To help with this decision you need to read the Post 16 Transition Booklet 2019 and the Next Step
Booklet. In addition, A careers advisor, will meet with your son/daughter to write them a Career Plan. You will also be invite to a meeting to review your son or daughter’s Educational Health and Care Plan. At this meeting you will have the opportunity to discuss your son or daughter’s transition.
You will need to print off and complete the ”Post 16/19 Transfer – September 2020 Form”.

Sixth Form Students/ Post 19
If your son/daughter is in year 14 or year 12 or 13 and planning to leave Sixth Form at the end of the academic year, you and they need to decide what they want to do next academic year.
To help with this decision you need to read the Post 16 Transition Booklet and the Next Step Booklet. In addition, A career Advisor will meet with your son/daughter to write them a Career Plan. You will also be invite to a meeting to review your son or daughter’s Educational Health and Care Plan. At this meeting you will have the opportunity to discuss your son or daughter’s transition.
