Today Queensbury School held a Pride celebration. In the morning form groups learnt about the celebration promoting inclusivity and diversity. In the afternoon, we held a fete which was organised by students from New Horizons and the PTA. Students enjoyed the opportunity to purchase sweets/ cakes/ samosas and took part in various games, including sponge a teacher. All money raised went to the PTA where it will help fund a new mini bus, barrier netting for the New Horizons playground and fund similar future events. A massive thanks to 6th form staff and students who helped plan and manage the stalls, the Parent and Child craft club and all who came and supported.
