Local artist in Queensbury School.

Specially selected students, Prefects, and Student Council members were invited to take part in a whole-day arts workshop alongside local Artist Rob from EcoGrow and Queensbury School and New Horizons.   At Queensbury students created a hanging installation of a turtle, jelly fish, and corral made from plastic bottles and bags, and paper in response to learning about the damage plastic is causing to our oceans.

At New Horizons students made a vertical garden where they dug holes, erected wooden planks, filled with cement, drilled and fixed pop bottles filled with planted tomato and strawberry plants. We cant wait to see the fruit these plants produce.

Well done everyone involved!
