During one of his English lessons, Mr. Dennis was tapping into the creativity of the students in 8N and getting them to express themselves through poetry.
Rhys excelled and showcased his hidden talent. he wrote a selection of poems, each with great depth and written within minutes apart.
I had heard about a poetry competition by Young Writers called “Through Their Eyes” in which students were to write a poem about living vicariously through the eyes of someone else.
Rhys’ poem “Ruby” was perfect for this.
