On 6th March 2025, Queensbury School celebrated the joy of reading with a variety of exciting events and activities, bringing together students and staff in a shared love for books. The students discussed their favourite books and characters, highlighting the importance of reading in expanding imaginations. Students participated in reading, story writing, book and costume competitions. Many students dressed up as their favourite book characters, adding to the festive atmosphere. Staff members also took part by reading to the younger students, fostering a sense of community and encouraging literacy. The celebration was a reminder of how books can spark curiosity, and open doors to new worlds. World Book Day at Queensbury was a memorable experience that reinforced the value of reading for both fun and learning.
