On Friday 15th December Queensbury School held its annual Christmas Fete. Sixth form students took the lead in organising this event with each form class planning their stall. All classes were allowed a maximum of £30 from the PTA to fund their stall. Items were purchased during community access and students explored money skills, budgeting and presentation skills. We had a fantastic craft stall where the items on sale were made during the weekly craft club ran by Julie Sanders and Nikki Cooke. Parents and carers were invited to attend and we had a fabulous turn out. A massive £764 was raised for the PTA which plans to give a donation to the 6th form prom and other student-centered events that will take place in 2024.
A massive thanks to all that came and supported our students.
