Thought of the Week: Time to Talk

This week is ‘Time to Talk ‘ week. On Thursday 6th February, people are being encouraged to put aside their mobile phones and spend time talking about their mental health. Just ‘checking in’ on one another. One  in four adults and one in eight young people will experience a mental health problem in any given year, which is why talking more openly about mental health is being encouraged.
Attached are slides that encourage us to think about the ‘Small Things.’ This includes a link to a short film about the way we can support our friends by doing  ‘small things’ to check that they are okay. There are lots of other really good resources on the ‘Time to Talk’ website.
