On Friday 19th October Queensbury School celebrated Diwali. Students created a range of beautiful art works including mixed media collage, acrylic canvas painting, clay tea lights, wire and tissue painting lanterns and Rangoli chalk art. Students had the option to have their hands decorated with Henna and samosas were on sale at break. I would like to say thank you to Local Councillor Mick Brown for coming here today to our assembly and awarding our pupils for their hard work.
