Why your views matter?

The Education Impact Academy Trust Board and Local Governing Body of Queensbury School would like to give all current and future parents and all other interested parties the opportunity to comment on the proposal to:

Proposal to relocate Post 16 Education site and increase SEND provision.

1)      Relocate SEND Post 16 (Sixth Form) provision to new refurbished site. (Station Road, Erdington B23 6UB – From February 2023) 

2)      Increase Provision of SEND Post 16 places from 84 to 96 ( From 1st September 2023).

3)      Increase total number of SEND places for Queensbury School up to 340 placements, across two sites. (From September 2024)

How long is consultation?

The consultation will run for 4 weeks from Friday 21st January 2022 to 12 Noon on Friday 18th February 2022.

The Trust Board and Local Governing Body of Queensbury School are keen to receive your comments on the proposal and you can comment online here until 12 Noon on Friday 18th February 2022.

What happens next?

This consultation will start Friday 21st January 2022.

The consultation (representation) period will end Friday 18th February 2022.

During this time anyone who wishes to make comments/objections about this proposal should do so via this survey or send written responses using the form in the information pack to Queensbury school address.

The school will also hold a virtual meeting and presentation during the consultation period for existing students and families. Further information will be posted through the school’s communication system WEDUC on details and times. Equally Mrs Adnan (Head of Sixth Form / Post 16 ) would be happy to discuss with existing parents and families if they wish to call school and leave a message for her to contact them. All comments/objections received will be presented to the Trust Board.

If the Trust Board advance the proposal, Information would be presented to the Regional School Commissioner and Department for Education (Decision makers).
